Faith, Fashion & Real Life: How I’m Balancing It All (Kind Of!)

Let me start by saying this: I do not have it all together.

But by God’s grace, I’m doing it on purpose — and for purpose.

Between motherhood, launching Wear the Word, chasing dreams, trusting God, and trying to leave the house with matching earrings… life is A LOT.

But it’s also beautiful. Stretching. Rewarding. And 100% worth it.

Mom Life, Brand Life, Prayer Life

Raising four beautiful kids while building a business from the ground up is no joke. Some mornings I’m packing lunchboxes and praying over orders. Other days, I’m answering emails with a bonnet on and a toddler climbing my back.

My days are a mix of:

Homeschool chaos

T-shirt designs

Scripture-fueled pep talks

Coffee… and more coffee

Late-night vision planning when the house finally gets quiet

Trusting God Through It All

One thing I’ve learned? Purpose will stretch you — and God will sustain you.

I’ve had to lean into Him in a whole new way while building Wear the Word. When sales are slow or tech won’t cooperate, I’ve had to remind myself: This isn’t just a brand, it’s an assignment.

There are days I cry.

There are days I shout, “THANK YOU JESUS!” because something finally works.

And there are days when I just breathe deep and say, “Lord, help me keep showing up.”

Now let’s talk fashion for a second.

Listen, some days I look like I stepped out of a Pinterest board in my “On Purpose. For Purpose.” tee and a cute denim jacket. Other days? I’m wearing that same tee with leggings, a top bun, and the “this is real life” look on my face.
