Stepping Out in Faith: My First Vendor Market Experience
Share
This past weekend, I did something that scared me a little — I set up shop for my very first vendor market with Wear the Word!
In the days leading up to the event, fear definitely tried to creep in. I kept thinking, What if no one stops by? What if I’m not ready? But even in the middle of those doubts, I prayed and reminded myself that if God led me here, He would meet me there — and that’s exactly what He did.
Running off just a few hours of sleep and a whole lot of God’s grace, I showed up with a smile, my energy, and my passion. I spoke to people about Wear the Word, how it all started, and what it truly means to wear faith boldly. I shared the heart behind the brand — that it’s more than clothing, it’s a message, a reminder to stand firm in purpose and live out the Word daily.
And you know what? People connected. They stopped, they listened, they shopped, and they were inspired. God showed up through every conversation, every sale, and every moment of encouragement. What started as a nervous “first” ended up being a beautiful success and a powerful confirmation that obedience always leads to blessing.
So if you’re thinking about stepping into something new — a business, a dream, a calling — let me encourage you:
Stick with God.
Be persistent.
Keep going.
Even if you’re scared, even if you’re tired, even if it’s brand new — do it anyway. God will meet you there, too.
